Alison was born in Gibraltar and started dancing at the age of four. She moved to Singapore when she was six and commenced training at the Singapore Ballet Academy where she had the opportunity to perform in SDT’s productions of Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. In 2005, she performed in Anthony Dowell's Swan Lake with the Royal Ballet in Singapore.
