Québec city native Alexandre Carlos first studied dance at a small school in the neighbourhood of Saint-Eustache at the age of 6. There, he was introduced to a broad spectrum of dance styles, including classical and jazz ballet, tap dance, hip hop, Latin dance, as well as modern and contemporary dance. After graduating from high school with a concentration in music, Alexandre went on the study at LADMMI, the Montreal-based contemporary dance school, where he trained under such choreographers as José Navas, Tedd Robinson, Ginette Laurin, Dana Gingras, Sébastian Mathias Guerke, Roger Sinha, Sara Bild, Marie-Claude Rodrigue and Pierre Lecours.
