Arizona Ballet
Ballet Arizona is an innovative and provocative professional ballet company that creates, performs, and teaches outstanding classical and contemporary ballet. The company is dedicated to preserving and celebrating classical dance while creating and commissioning new innovative works.
Ballet Arizona is under the artistic direction of Ib Andersen, who was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for over a decade. An administrative team and community board of directors provides support services and oversight for the company's activities, and is assisted by the dedicated efforts of an enthusiastic Volunteer Corps.
Ballet Arizona is dedicated to serving the people of central Arizona through Education and Community Outreach programs, which touch the lives of more than 35,000 children each year.
Ballet Arizona believes that a performance can change lives. We offer our audiences and participants the opportunity to expand your imagination on a unique journey to place where it has never been and allow you to experience art in a way that surpasses words!
