Adam Miller Dance Project
Adam Miller Dance Project breaks the mold of what ballet dancers are expected to do on stage. Founded in 2001, the project has been the leader in the Hartford dance Renaissance.
A small, tight-knit group of artist/collaborators dedicated to bringing something new to dance lovers: professional ballet trained dancers in works that attempt to redefine what people think dance can be in America today. The project has presented twenty new and recent works by seven choreographers, including several world premieres by its director Adam Miller.
This approach has produced a wide range of dances, with more planned for the future. The works have been praised for being challenging, adult, sexy, witty and irreverent.
