Tulsa Ballet

For fifty-three years, Tulsa Ballet has enriched the lives of Oklahomans and people around the world by providing outstanding performances to more than 40,000 individuals annually. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Marcello Angelini, now in his sixteenth year with the company, Tulsa Ballet has brought unprecedented recognition to our city and state by developing a reputation for innovative ideas and great artistic achievements. Tulsa Ballet's unique and varied repertory rivals those of the best ballet companies in the world and attracts an extraordinary pool of international talent to the company.   Tulsa Ballet presents six productions annually, with one comprised solely of World Premiere dances commissioned for Tulsa Ballet. In addition to a home season, Tulsa Ballet offers a performance series in Oklahoma City, presenting at least two productions there annually. Tulsa Ballet also tours each year, with recent destinations including The Sintra Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, the Belgrade Dance Festival in Serbia, the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, Croatia, the International Ballet Expo in Seoul, South Korea and a performance series at The Joyce Theater in New York and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
