It is a necessary and challenging cultural performance, when the city of Mainz and Rhineland-Palatinate (in economically strained times) for a theater with opera, drama and ballet decides for a theater that can play at a high artistic level with regional and national attention. The existentially-seekers who do research in their texts, stories and characters for identity, security and home. We also want to follow those who are unfamiliar because of their culture, nationality and mentality in the foreign country. And we look for cultural differences and similarities in our country, the multi-ethnic, definitely, but perhaps is not multicultural. As a framework program, we plan in the fall of a "festival of religions."
The State Theater in Mainz will strengthen human and artistic. We are delighted to have won it three interesting artists. Tatyana Gürbaca, one of the most renowned directors in musical theater, is taking over this season, the Opera management. Tatyana Gürbaca, with their productions at the State Theater in Mainz was able to celebrate successes, opened her wide-spanning game plan with Wagner's masterpiece, "Tristan and Isolde" directed by Tilman Knabe.
